Arts in Education Forum

Mod Productions was invited to present this week at the 2013 Arts in Education Forum. Hosted by the Australia Council for the Arts and Sydney Opera House, the event brought together educators working with Australia's major performing arts companies including orchestra, theatre, dance, circus and opera. The forum is an opportunity to share the latest and best that's happening in arts education worldwide. Body Playground

Mod Productions has been selected to participate in the Interactive Media Initiative (IMI), a Queensland University of Technology (QUT) research project, which is enquiring into sources of innovation in the games and interactive entertainment industry in Australia. The scheme pairs traditional artists with digital media companies to collaborate in research, exploring opportunities for future commercialisation.

Beyond: Two Souls

French video game developer Quantic Dream have another game set to come out October this year, following their 2010 hit (and Mod Productions favourite) Heavy Rain. Beyond: Two Souls stars Ellen Page alongside Willem Dafoe via motion capture.

What a fantastic week! ACO VIRTUAL opened at the Arts Centre Gold Coast without a hitch and has been getting great audience response. A highlight was hearing that a visitor in their 70s found the touch pad and mobile interaction easy and fun!
